Craft & Fine Art Classes and Workshops in Marlboro, Vermont.

The Marlboro Studio School is an all-levels arts program offering hands-on instruction in a variety of craft and fine art media, with a focus on ecologically sound, environmentally-friendly techniques and processes.

Based on the 500+ acre Potash Hill campus in rural Southeastern Vermont, our spaces include a fully outfitted ceramics studio, a multi-media sculpture studio, a painting studio, and other multipurpose flexible work and stay spaces.

Beginning Leatherworking

    Beginning Pysanky Egg Dyeing

    Learn the ancient Ukrainian Easter egg art of pysanky.

    Since pagan times, Ukrainians have decorated eggs to welcome spring. Learn to create a beautiful, one of a kind keepsake with designs and colors that pop.

  • Youth Ceramics: Wheel Throwing (ages 8-13)

    Instructor: Emily Tatro

    Sunday afternoons, March 29 - May 3*

    Students will learn wheel-throwing skills including centering, pulling walls, and trimming while developing confidence in their artistic voice.

    Through this foundational quilting course, we will learn how to draw in inspiration, notice our artistic preferences, and build a creative practice, diving deeper into whatever techniques will help push your projects forward.

    Ink! Press! Pull! Spring Break Block Printing for Teens (12-16)

    A spring break art opportunity! Experiment with layering prints, mixing and applying colored inks, using a printing press, and hand-pulling prints. Learn cool new techniques you can continue to use on your own.
