Our artist-led studio classes & workshops give students in the chance to dive into a new endeavor, or hone skills they already possess.

We offer studio classes in a variety of formats, including weekly community classes for regional students, weekend workshops, and multi-day residential workshops.

Beginning Pysanky Egg Dyeing

Learn the ancient Ukrainian Easter egg art of pysanky and create a beautiful, one of a kind keepsake with designs and colors that pop.

Beginning Leatherworking

Instructor: Rich Cogliano

Discover the timeless craft of leatherwork in this hands-on introductory course designed for beginners. Learn the foundational skills essential to working with leather and create your own leather project to use & enjoy.

Create a small suite of intimate artist books shaped by the Art that Breathes philosophy—an approach that centers relationship, slowness, ecological awareness, and sensory connection to place.

Ceramics Workshop: Surface Focus—Color & Technique

Instructor: Jodie Masterman

Explore and experiment with all types of decorative methods, including wax resist, underglaze and slip, glaze inlay and layering, sgraffito, newsprint transfer, and more. Test tiles and sample pieces will be provided, so your entire time will be spent decorating.
