Cut, draw, ink, press, and pull your very own block print! In this beginner-friendly workshop for teens (ages 12-16), students will design and create an edition of prints using foam as their printing matrix.

We will experiment with layering prints, mixing and applying colored inks, using a printing press, and hand-pulling prints. Learn techniques you’ll be able to continue on your own at home. By the end of the session, students will have a collection of unique, one-of-a-kind prints.

Tuition includes class time/instruction and all materials.

This class is open to students ages 12-16.
Skill Level: All levels welcome.

Instructor: Ben Ferguson

Ben Ferguson is an art teacher and practicing artist from Southern Vermont. Ben earned his B.F.A. from Johnson State College and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Bennington College. He has taught art in public schools for 12 years. When not in school, Ben can be found bicycling, adventuring, working in the garden, cuddling with his cats, or making ART!
