CAMPUS
Marlboro Studio School is nestled on Potash Hill in rural Marlboro, Vermont, about 12 miles west of Brattleboro.
Our studios and residential halls are part of the Campus at Marlboro Music, a 500+ acre campus that is mostly wooded, with 19th century farmhouse style buildings, undeveloped forests, expansive views, and extensive hiking trails connecting directly to the central buildings.
Marlboro Studio School classes and workshops are held in the Center for Visual Arts, which houses numerous purpose-built studio spaces. The Center for Visual Arts is ADA accessible. We are committed to making our studio programming accessible to as wide an audience as possible. Please contact us regarding any specialized access or support needs.

Accessibility
The Marlboro Studio School is located in the ADA accessible Visual Arts Building on the Campus at Marlboro Music.

There are two accessible parking spots adjacent to the Marlboro Studio School Visual Arts Building. To access: Turn off South Road towards the Marlboro Studio School. Marked parking spaces are available on the right at the bottom of the hill.

The front doors to the Marlboro Studio School lobby can be controlled by button-access automation. The buttons are marked on the outside of the building. Push the button to have the door open automatically. Please note that the doors may take a moment to open. There are two sets of button-access doors leading into the building.

The Marlboro Studio School bathrooms are all non-gendered, private facilities that are ADA accessible.

The Marlboro Studio School building can be navigated by elevator. There is easy access on each floor of the building.

The Marlboro Studio School studio spaces are accessible to those utilizing mobility aids. Please contact us to discuss any specialized needs for assistance with any studio processes.

We maintain a comfortable, fully-accessible lounge area in the Gallery space on the second floor. This lounge is available to all students and can be utilized as a space to recover from any sensory-overload that may result from studio processes.
GETTING HERE
Marlboro Studio School is located on the Campus at Marlboro Music in rural Marlboro, Vermont, about 12 miles west of Brattleboro.
MSS is easily accessible by car (weather permitting, of course), and Brattleboro hosts an Amtrak station with daily routes from New York City. The campus is about a 2.5 hour drive from Boston, and 4 hours from NYC. Students traveling by air can fly to Boston Logan International (BOS), Bradley International (BDL) near Hartford, CT, or any number of other smaller regional airports.

From Interstate-91:
Take exit 2 (both North- and South-bound traffic) onto VT-9 West. Travel 8.7 miles west on VT-9 and turn left onto South Road in Marlboro. Follow South Road for approximately 2.5 miles until you arrive on the Potash Hill Campus. Park in the visitor lot and proceed towards Moss Hollow Road. Turn left down the hill when South Road becomes dirt and you’ll see the Marlboro Studio School Center for Visual Arts Building directly in front of you.
From VT-9:
In Marlboro, turn left onto South Road (left turn for Westbound traffic, right for Eastbound traffic). Follow South Road for approximately 2.5 miles until you arrive on the Potash Hill Campus. Park in the visitor lot and proceed towards Moss Hollow Road. Turn left down the hill when South Road becomes dirt and you’ll see the Marlboro Studio School Center for Visual Arts Building directly in front of you.
