Instructor: Nina Nabizadeh

Students in this class will begin to develop their artistic identity as they build muscles and reflexes on the potter's wheel.

This course asks students to sketch, complete warm up exercises, and develop wheel throwing skills. We will primarily focus on the skills of centering, pulling, and trimming. Students will be given the opportunity to create bowls, plates, and cups. Our goal is to gain skills while having fun!

This class is open to students ages 8-13.
Skill Level: All levels welcome.

Tuition includes class time/instruction and all materials.

Class Meeting Times: 2:30 - 4:00 pm on 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23 (Work pick-up Sunday 11/30 between 2:30 and 4:00 pm or by arrangement)

Instructor: Nina Nabizadeh

Nina is an art educator in Southern Vermont. They received their Fine Arts degree from Marlboro College and Masters of Arts Ed. from Umass Amherst. They are first generation Iranian American which fully informs their ceramic practice.
